ModelDataset.resolution(meters: bool = False) → tuple[float, float] | tuple[float, float, float]

Determine the resolution of the model.

Returns:

• tuple[float, float] | tuple[float, float, float] – Resolution of the model. For a voxelmodel, returns (xres, yres, zres). For a layermodel, returns (xres, yres).

• meters (bool, optional) – If True, the resolution is returned in meters. Can be used when the model’s CRS is geographic (e.g. WGS84) but the resolution is desired in meters. If False, the resolution is returned in the units of the model’s CRS. The default is False.

Raises:

ValueError – Resolution cannot be determined for 1D models.
